According to sources related to the technology market, the recently released updated price list has seen an increase in the prices of Samsung smartphones from flagships to mid-range. It is said that there has been a significant price increase especially in the premium models of the new series.

According to mobile market analysts, the main reasons behind the price increase are the increase in the cost of chipset and memory components in the international market, fluctuations in the US dollar exchange rate, increase in import costs and challenges related to supply management.

Looking at the price list of Samsung mobile phones officially available in Nepal, it is seen that prices have been adjusted in various models recently. This has forced consumers buying new smartphones to reconsider their budgets.

According to experts, since international price changes are directly affected in an import-dependent market like Nepal, there is a possibility that the prices of mobile phones of other brands may also be adjusted in the coming days.
